This one depens on your selected authentication method. Sasl supports plain, login, digest-md5 and cram-md5 (at least). with digest/cram-md5 sasl always uses the sasldb. This is independent of the setting in your smtp.conf file. Only for plain text passwords, sasl is able to use all the alternative pwcheck_methods. > > Can anybody help me?
