lint is a "template" that checks the rpm config file for compliance with
MDK format style and standard.  Since you don't end up building src rpms
with this but rather just a binary rpm that is managable via rpm it's
not as critical.  Translation.  You can use them but they aren't ready
for distribution via MDK.
