although this is a list for English speaking people I know well that
there are a lot of German native speakers around in this list. So, for
all those German speaking people I have an info:
Following a discussion in the newbie-de mailing list we (3 other users
and I) are opening a new site for the German speaking Mandrake User
Community. The site offers:
- a forum for discussions about all issues related to Mandrake Linux,
MandrakeSoft and Linux in general.
- an article section with articles about Mandrake Linux and the use of
it (comments and articles of users welcome)
- a document section, building up and planned to hold german
translations of the famous MandrakeUser.org Docs (no comments
possible)
- a link section
Main rules are:
- all articles, forum postings and documentation in German language.
- only MandrakeSoft, Mandrake Linux and Linux related stuff
- users have to register for the forum but no unnecessary questions
asked
- no bad language, no trolling, no illegal contents (according to German
laws)
This site is *not* another official Mandrake site although there are
personal ties. It's a private project of Mandrake users to concentrate
resources of the German speaking community.
