If someone can gain root access in order to patch a running kernel, yer already owned. This is hype, pure and simple, another attempt to gain notoriety by pointing out "flaws" in a kernel that has proved itself beyond question more secure than the "other" kernel. To further claim that Linux needs to go the route of the Trusted Computing initiative...well, yer right, that's not funny, that's scary. -- HaywireMac ++ ICQ # 279518458 Registered Linux user #282046 Homepage: www.orderinchaos.org ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Mandrake HowTo's & More: http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Arrakis teaches the attitude of the knife - chopping off what's incomplete and saying: "Now it's complete because it's ended here." -- Muad'dib, "Dune"
