hw: audigy sound card, via onboard sound card, usb webcam with microphone sw: mandrake 9.2 (final), using alsa
i am trying to set up my configuration thus /dev/dsp is audigy (while most of the program sends sound there), the other dsp (2, 3) is webcam microphone and via onboard).
however everytime i boot modules for webcam audio are loaded first so i get /dev/dsp -> microphone, that other module order does not interest me. i have reported this also at mandrakesoft (http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=6157)
i tried to plug the webcam after the boot process is finished, which resulted in /dev/dsp was really audigy /dev/dsp2 was webcam's microphone but /dev/dsp1 was still audigy (and not via). kmix then showed only via's mixer (though via had no dsp entry).
my /etc/module seems like this: audigy scsi_hostadapter

any ideas please?
