Just another question that I answered after hitting the send button. Yes, it was other commands that were messing things up. I simplified my fstab to "/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,nosuid,user,nodev 0 0" and it now mounts fine. -- Linux: For the people, by the people.
