OK, I've been tweaking all day and have narrowed down the problems;

1) My second hard drive (which has some fat32 partitions on it) was
marked root only, or whatever; thus I can't see my media files, etc etc.
The fstab file *was* jacked up -- but I replaced the line for the
partition in question with the line from the fstab.mdk[backup]:

/dev/hdd2 /mp3 vfat iocharset=iso8859-1,codepage=850 0 0

What do I need to do now to make it work? My bootloader is grub.

1b) During the first boot after upgrading, lilo (or something) brought up
a couple of "new device found" text windows (like the dos ANSI windows),
claiming that this hard drive was new. The only problem was that the
windows weren't navigatable by any means that I could work out - arrow
keys, tabs, ctrl or alt + letter didn't seem to work. "Esc" and "Enter"
were the only two keys that did anything, thus I left the settings
unaltered. Not slick.

2) My .login and .cshrc files are ignored when I login from gdm to
icewm/rox. Under 9.0, both would be executed as icewm booted. Now .cshrc
is accessed every time I open a terminal, and the .login only when I
specifically source it. This is annoying. Where do you put your startup
tweaks for 9.2?

Thanks for any pointers
