I know Novell needs this to get back in the game against MS. I think it's a
good move. They were always Number 1 in networking until MS under priced
them out. I know a lot of people might say this is bad for Linux but I think
it's good. Novell has serious network experience and was a serious server
and to endorse Linux says a lot.

This could be very good for mandrake...
first redhat drops out of the free desktop arena...
Then SUSE gets aquired by Novel which is much more likely to target the enterprise market as well...
That leaves Mandrake as the biggest contender in the desktop market.. possibly the only "newbie friendly" one left (apart from Lindows and Xandros, which don't have "free" versions to bring the newbies in...)
