The standard build of all packages I have come across is to install into /usr/local. All MDK RPMs are built to install in /usr. The option to change the installation directory is usually a parameter to ./configure. My guess would be that the sarg developers missed a bug that failed to check the option, alternatively the MDK packagers failed to specify it correctly. -- Richard Urwin
