the Media Arts Distribution Grant grant provides support for the
distribution of new works in film, video, sound, new-media, and
media-installation. Grant awards assist artists in making recently
completed works available to public audiences and may include, but are
not limited to distribution and exhibition expenses such as: duplication
of preview, screening, and exhibition copies; promotional materials
including documentation and schematics of media-installation and
new-media works. Artists may request funding support up to a maximum

78,000 potential listeners in New York's Greene and Columbia Counties.
Saturdays and late nights on 90.7-FM are programmed by WGXC's parent

frequencies, signals, and transmissions will be mixed in. Check in on CB

strings-and-cups, or whatever else we can tune in. This collaborative
show may come from any location, but usually the WGXC Greene County
studios at Wave Farm in Acra and the Catskill Community Center. Features
include solar weather, shortwave news, and more.

"Radio Papesse" from Siena, Italy is this week's contributing station to
"Radia." Each week, a different station in the "Radia" network

The now-monthly overview of illegal airwave activity focuses on
shortwave and FM recordings and news, and FCC actions against pirates in
the United States. Hosted by Ragnar Daneskjold. Pirates in the news this
month include a pirate radio film from down under and a pirate Bust in
Kansas. ‭Select postings from the Free Radio Network, HF Underground and
note stations logged per the Free Radio Weekly. ‭Off Air Recordings
include the stations of: XLR8, Radio Casablanca, XFM and Renegade Radio.

exciting opportunity in conjunction with AIR’s 2013 "Live Interactive"
program. We’re looking for adventurous media-makers, artists, and
documentarians interested in teaming up to explore/exploit media that

platforms. Applications are due November 14, 2012. A selected team will

         June - October 2013

The Wave Farm Residency program provides artists with valuable
assistance with which to concentrate on new transmission works and
conduct research about the genre using free103point9's resource library.
Wave Farm Residency durations are flexible and determined on a
case-by-case basis. Artists should plan for a presentation of their
work, developed during their residency, in conjunction with
free103point9's FM radio station, WGXC 90.7-FM. Resident artists are
also encouraged present their work to public audiences in an intimate
hands-on setting vis-a-vis exhibition and or a public
workshop/skill-share. Residents are invited to archive documentation,
recordings, and other project ephemera with the free103point9
Transmission Art Archive (both the online resource and the physical

works for radio transmission, in 2002, free103point9 became a nonprofit
arts organization focused on cultivating Transmission Arts. This genre
