Well, the time-consuming thing is now finding the thumbnails that don't have a valid reference anymore. I only get the big question mark symbol when I try to view it in big size. Could "Refresh Thumbnail" find them for me, in addition to what it does normally? I imagine it would ask "Cannot find the originals for 42 images anymore - do you want to remove them from the catalog?". Or it could mark them with a special tag and tell the user about it. Actually, I don't quite see what "Refresh Thumbnail" does right now - shouldn't thumbnail updating always be automatic?
