Hi Dotan, You can have multiple versions of F-Spot on the same machine. Check out http://f-spot.org/How_To_Build on how to run f-spot uninstalled. You can also choose to run f-spot on an alternate db and with an other Photos directory using http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344361 We all hope that this will reach CVS soon, so it will ease the testings. For my part, I don't use --uninstalled or alternate photos db. I run all my tests under a different user. You can do it with su in an xterm or a new login in nested windows. And when I need to use a stable f-spot on my pictures, I redo a 'make install' from the unpatched source directory. Hope it helps Stephane -- Stephane Delcroix [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ F-spot-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/f-spot-list
