Nathanael, Which part of the compile failed? I'm running Ubuntu Edgy and had some issues at first with dependencies while doing "configure". To resolve the issues, I had to apt-get some extra dev-libs for mono. I can't recall which exact libs I needed to install, but it took a bit of digging to figure it out.
