Hi, I have tried several times to un-install f-spot but always some files remain. This means that when I reinstall I have 2-3-4 thumbnails without associated image files. I started going through the files, deleting from catalogue the ones without matching image files but when I realised how long it would take with about 5000 files, I tried to select all (ctrl-a) and delete so I could start again. This hung the application and I was then back to square one. I really want to get this app back to the way it was before I fouled it up. It worked then exactly the way I wanted it to.
Is there a way to clean out the db for a new start? Could I delete some/all of the files listed below to do this? file:///home/john/.gconf/apps/f-spot file:///home/john/.gnome2/f-spot file:///home/john/.gnome2/f-spot/addin-db-000/addin-dir-data/home_john_.gnome2_f-spot_addins_FSpot.ChangePath.0.9.0.0_b0ecc69a.data file:///home/john/.gnome2/f-spot/addin-db-000/addin-dir-data/usr_lib_f-spot_abddc21d.data file:///home/john/.gnome2/f-spot/addin-db-000/addin-dir-data/usr_lib_f-spot_extensions_a097f746.data file:///home/john/.gnome2/f-spot/addins/f-spot.host.addins file:///home/john/.gnome2/f-spot/repository-cache/addins.f-spot.org_0.mrep file:///home/john/.gnome2/f-spot/repository-cache/addins.f-spot.org_1.mrep Thanks, John. _______________________________________________ F-spot-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/f-spot-list
