Ah! I had completely missed the "fulltext search" feature. It is not in any of the menus, in particular, it is not in the "Find" menu . But this might have been fixed in a later version, I'm using f-spot 0.4.3.1 which is in Ubuntu 8.4. It should be useful. But, for my particular problem it would have been even better to find all paths which *don't* match the one where they are supposed to be. But that might be to ask too much. the fulltext search will go a long way. > > Is it possible to move files while keeping them in the f-spot db? From the description it is not clear whether it can change just a subset of the paths or if it will always change the paths of all pictures in the db, but I assume it is clever enough. Unfortunatelly, it does not appear in my list of extensions in f-spot. I guess I will have to upgrade to a more recent f-spot? It is a tar.gz file full of .xml and ".cs" files, (what ever that is). and when I look in the extenions dir on my computer I find files with the extention ".dll". In the future it might even be possible to combine the FindOrphanPhotos and the ChangePath extension. /Andreas _______________________________________________ F-spot-list mailing list F-spot-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/f-spot-list
