I had considered that, but all of my images have the right date, and I
can get through 100 images and then come up with one that stops it cold;
try the one mentioned in the bugzilla bug. I'm not even importing from
my camera, just my collection on the HD.
My config is to always shoot JPEG+RAW; I can't think of anything that
would cause the issue being different between photos. I'd have to assume
it's something like a value in the tag that changes. Maybe something to
do with exposure time or the colour profile, or something with otherwise
wildly variable data.
Could you describe your debug process a little? I wouldn't mind getting
my hands dirty.
