Hello Antti, > I updated my ubuntu to 15.04, started F-spot. It did work once, crashed. > When I was trying to restart it said: > > An unhandled exception was thrown: Sqlite error 11: database disk image is > malformed (SQL: SELECT base_uri, COUNT(*) AS count FROM photos GROUP BY > base_uri ORDER BY base_uri ASC)
Oh dear. f-spot stores information about all the images in a database file (by default in ~/.gnome2/f-spot/photos.db for older versions of F-Spot, and ~/.config/f-spot/photos.db for newer versions). That file was corrupted due to the crash. Don't know if f-spot makes a backup before accessing the file (have a look in the respective directories) - if not it's time to dig out that backup you of course made... > Did not start after that. > > I tried to remove it and install again, but now Ubuntu software center says: > > There isn’t a software package called “f-spot” in your current software > sources. Can't help with that - get it from whereever you got it from the first time round... Sven -- .xxxx.
