The sounds like an old racers tail ! It would be good to get some extra oil in the cylinder to keep things cool, but it may not make any difference.
Important to note is that you can not break in rings using synthetic oils like Red Line. You should use standard, off the shelf two cycle snowmobile oil, none synthetic. I always try to get an hour of run time before hitting the track. This time should be spent changing the engine RPM every few minutes. No high RPM's. Watch your water temp, these things are not meant to run sitting in the garage. To give this some prospective, I read the break in procedure for a small engine, 4 cycle, and they talked about 10 hours !
