Tuning the clutches primarily concerns getting the right back shifting on the driven clutch to match with ones driving style. Ideally, driving with a CVT,one keeps the throttle foot firmly planted WOT and with braking let's the CVT back shift to the proper gear ratio to maximize launch off the corners. The Primary Clutch is tuned to limit the max RPM of the engine and the Driven Clutch is tuned to have the back shifting properties that are desired. The over all aim is to have the engine running at the maximum power RPM for the maximum amount of time during the lap. Your synphcter pressures may vary the time of WOT.
