I would like to say that I am very happy with my Kodiak wheels. Some of the
first he spun in-house. Yes, they bend like potato chips if the tire
mounter isn't 'very good.' I have to stand over the mounter - 'shark' - and
stop/warn him when he starts to use a pry bar.

Autocrosses, on some very rough lots - rough enough to require welding the
frame a couple times a year.

When I ordered my wheels, I did indeed ask for the lightest possible.
Daryle talked me down from this ledge, and I ended up with what I consider a
very good compromise, 4.6 pounds each (Wow!). I was VERY happy with Kodiak
service. He promised them in one week, and it only took two (different
situations. . .). He explained in detail the risk of super light wheels.
And if one of my wheels cracks soon. . . I accepted that risk, with
warning, when I bought the custom, to my spec, wheels.

Now, the 'too tight an angle' issue may be a bit different from this, but
thought I should chime in here.

Hello,

Well before everyone starts to burn me on a pole I thought I would wade in
to give a slightly different outlook on things.
