No it is not that simple for any car.  The changes will typically require a
different rocker arm.  The advantages will be significant in that nore
linear rates will be available with the right geometry & the cars will have
a great deal more adjustability.

However it will require some design work.

On my J9 . . . is the 3" rubber conversion as simple as installing a longer
3/8" fine threaded rod to accomodate the extra 2" of rubber on all four
corners?
