Probably just an error in Fastrack getting the numbers reversed. anyone

Your memory is correct. That was my proposal. I now have several samples
being made to multiple different dimensions. I suspect that this will work
too. However it will not package as nicely as the 2" diameter 3" long
rubbers. I should have samples & test results in a month.

I know that my memory is getting bad with old age and all but I vaguely
remember that the proposal that we all agreed to was a 3" long cylinder, 2"
diameter(from Jay Novak's proposed dimensions) and that this looked good
because it meant that the shock tube diameter could stay about the same
because the diameter was staying the same. The rule change in fastrack
says
the opposite -- 2" tall and 3" diameter. Please help with a memory check.
