The Nationals operate just about the same as a National Tour event. You
get 3 runs on each of the two days you run. This year, FMod will be
running on the first two days (Tues/Weds). Because there are over 1000
participants, some classes run on Tues/Weds and others run on
Thurs/Fri. Tech and impound are usually more stringent than at Tour
events. You can probably count on a "compliance test" of some sort or
another during impound. The past two years they checked for overall
width. You never quite know what might be checked. Make sure your car is
legal, including numbers and class letters. The GCR and Solo Rule book
contain the guidelines. Good luck. And bring your rain gear. Fmod seems
to attract water in Topeka.
