What brought on this squeeze is the addition of Spec Miata as a national class. What will make it even worse is the SCCA announcement of adding up to 4 MORE national classes in 2008 (Prepared & Touring classes). What does this mean to the F500 community? We better increase our entries at every national race and the runoffs from now on or the entry number rule will knock us down to a regional class. This is a call to be proactive and head this off before they place the F500 class on probation. BTW, how many entries are there registered for the runoffs? I wonder if registering more than 35 F500's will force the CRB to reconsider the runoffs schedule. They are driven by the number of entries. The sooner you register the higher the entries become, the sooner the CRB has to reconsider.
