In my earlier reply, I didn't realize that you were running solo. Any
engine will heat up with no air flow through the radiator. These engines
produce the most horsepower when they are cold. Has to do with the air
flowing through the engine. So for solo, you would not want to start your
engine more than one minute before you race. The colder the better.
