I was thinking just the opposite. Read the article on the June Sprints
(carefully) The author, Tom Schultz, must have got a bad taste in his mouth
some were on F500's.

Look at the pictures, EVERY photo of all the other classes show the cars on
track running the good race. ONE photo of a F500 (and a small one with
hardly any color) shows it off track and flying through the sand trap..

Read the text about the F500 race. Three sentences (count them, I did) that
almost dismisses the whole race. If you don't count the long name of the
combined classes, only two sentences for F500.

But !!!! About the FV part of the race, I quote "The excitement of the race
was in Formula Vee" And Mr. Schultz goes on for 9 sentences describing the
action packed FV race.

Now I am sure that for the FV guys, this was an action packed race, and if
one of them had placed first overall, that would be something to write
about, but if you ask the guys in F500, I am sure that they would say that
their race was action packed.

If I remember correctly, Steve Jondal set fast lap in the race but did not
finish. No mention of him !

Just to the casual observer, someone not familiar with F500, they would
think that, humm, F500, no action there, better buy a FV.

Richard

Made as hell about the June Sprints Report ! ! ! !
