At the risk of getting away from the current bike-engine maelstrom, I have  a 
question regarding the recent change to GCR 17.1.6.E.15.  From the July  
FasTrack:

1. Section 17.1.6.E.15, clarify the sixth sentence of the first  paragraph to 
read as follows: 
 
Rotax Model 494 and Model 493 allowed with single expansion chamber and  
electric and/or pull starter.

As I read this, it seems the pull starter is now optional for both 494 and  
493 (per the and/or language).  Has anyone tested this at tech yet?  I  say 
this as I'm re-assembling my car, and I'd like to know FOR SURE whether or  not 
I 
need to put the #$^%ing pull starter in.  As some of you may  remember, I had 
an up-close and personal experience with this issue at last  year's Glen 
National...and I don't want to go through that mess again.
