I really wanted to be there, but we've got engine issues and despite our best efforts we just aren't going to be able to make it this year. Besides that, Gary Milligan drove our car last weekend and described it as completely undriveable, then provided a lengthy list of things that should be done over the winter to make it faster. He and Joe Cheng capped it off by letting Ernest and I drive the new Vancouver Special A-Mod for a couple runs to get an idea of what a top notch autoX car should handle like. We have a long ways to go before our car is that easy to drive fast.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Vancouver Special isn't going to make the trip either (not quite ready for prime time), so there will be no Canadians from BC making the trip. I'm sure if you really want a rematch (for your honour), one of the Quebec drivers would be happy to co-drive your car and prove that Canadians are simply faster. <g> Rest assured that the Canadian contingent will be back in force next year.
