Thanks Ed. I'm leaving tioday (Wednesday) so I'll have most of Thursday to recuperate from the drive. I'm used to long driving as my daughter was in school in Virginia and I made many trips. Several by myself with only one or two stops for fuel and relief.

As for the Glen, I was hoping to be crewed by BB Racing. Perhaps you know Chris Bogart. BB is from Hampton Beach, NH. Unfortunately his several team mates all copped out. Finally Chris has an out of state trip for his employer so I'm out of luck

No responces from my email as yet but I also emailed directly the SCCA leaders for this event so I'll see what happens.

I have the rain tires all mounted and ready to go. I have my 5 fuel cans and oil. Thanks for the tips. I might have forgotten my GCR if you hadn't mentioned it.

Matt

Matt - I don't know if you got any direct responses. I can not attend. I would suggest that you bring two of everything so you don't get caught out and unable to complete the on-track portions. Make sure you bring those rain tires. You will have very little time between sessions so bring an extra gas can or two and prepare to refuel whenever you can. I think the going standard is 3 gals every twenty minutes of WOT. Don't forget the oil as you are premixing with that Kawi. Are you really going to tow all the way to The Glen from Yarmouth Maine with no one else with you? That has got to be no less than 12 hours. I had done 13hr tows from Schenectady NY to IRP but I was in my 20s and crazy. I hope you plan to stay overnight somewhere enroute or you will be blitzed by the time the classroom sessions begin. Don't forget your copy of the GCR. Good Luck

I'm entered into the driver's school at the Glen this week with my F500 and just found out the crew I was relying on won't be able to attend. I'm stuck. I'm adament about attending the school but I need help!

I think a few of you F500 folks will be there and wondered if you would be available to help me out?.

Registration, tech and classroom begins Thursday at 6 pm. Course tours and classroom are on Saturday early morning and maybe some track time beginning mid morning and going all day. We also will be on the track until noon on Saturday.

If anyone is planning to be there or would like to help me out I sure would appreciate it. Thanks
