Bill, We don't "side" with anyone. We try very hard to use the facts that we are presented with and the reality of the results to come to a conclusion. Ultimately, a recommendation to the SEB will be made which could include additional allowances or other changes. If that recommendation says that the Vees need this or that, then you can assure yourself that we did everything to make sure that they actually did.
Keep in mind that the Vees are an anarchic formula car with '70s technology. Although the Solo rules allow that technology to be more effective then a FV, it is still basically an outdated car. This makes dealing with requested allowances or other suggestions problematic due to effectiveness and costs. But, if we are to be fair to all, if we are to try and maintain parity in this class, we need to listen and address everyone's concerns; Solo Vees AND F440/500s.
