Bill, since Jay will probably be busy for a few days, I'll answer for him.

Yes, you can take what he said literally.
He and his son will be going to another class or type of racing after this year.

Jay,
Does moving on mean that you will no longer make and sell Novakars?

I think that there is a lot of mis-understanding about the proposed
longer
pucks. It is not about getting more travel it is about getting a longer
linear range & less significant changing of the rates near the end of
travel.

This was not intended to just put the longer pucks in & you are done.
It
would nessitate the design of new rockers & would simplify the design of
the
spring cans.

The purpose of this proposal was to make it easier to get decent wheel
rates.

Another point is that you do not have to run 3 inch long pucks you can
use any
length UP TO 3 inches. Change is not necessary at all if what you have
works.

After the Runoffs I will post actual data on the F500 site for all to
look at
& you will see that it will be much easier to get controlable wheel
rates.

Our current car compresses the puck betwenn 2 FLAT plates. No tapered
recievers, compression plates or cans at all.

In any case we are moving on from F500 after this season & my goal was
to try
to help F500.

Thanks ... Jay Novak
