John, that "add-on" is where the squirrel keeps his nuts. :->
Seriously, that is just a side exit stinger. Most pipe manufacturer's offer
that as an option.
The exhaust doesn't have to exit the rear of an expansion chamber, it can
come out the side.
Supposedly, they are a little quieter and the system is shorter, overall.
I'm not sure if anyone has claimed a HP difference.

it looks like McMahan's car had an extra exhaust or some type of add in.
Can anyone comment on this? Who's pipe? Is it an exhaust, or just an
increase in pipe volume?, etc ...
