OK Jim, enough of trying to hide what happened. No one has ever said Clint was slow or that he never won a race. However it was PLAIN & SIMPLE, Clint was penalized 1 lap by the Stewards of the meet for rough driving when he knocked Brain Novak off the track on the 3rd lap of the race, & also caused the front of Jason Knutesons car to be very seriously damaged (destroyed) when Jason hit Brian in the same incident.
The fact of life is that Clint hit Brian & eliminated the number 1 & 2 qualifiers from the race in the "INCIDENT" so it was not an accident that he was penalized 1 LAP by the Stewards & also given points on his license. There were plenty of witnesses & a complete report from the corner workers. You might also note that in Thursday's qualifying he "accidentally" spun out another competitor. I also suggest that you watch last years Runoffs & look to see where the nose of his car is. It is certainly not on his car. He just "accidentally" hit another car & tore it off.
