Jim,

Yes, I will set-up the poll sometime soon. I don't know of any other/better way to make a poll available to everyone than via E-mail and a web-site (the way we did the last one). We constantly asked the folks on the list to contact classmates that don't use E-mail or Web and proxy their vote for them with membership # and phone # instead of E-mail (for confirmation of votes). This, of course, in addition to asking them to communicate to those that do have E-mail and web access, but don't monitor "the list".

I'm truly all ears to any ideas for a better process that can be managed in equal or less time than the above takes.

Shiny Side Up,
Joe Palmer

Thank you, Dan, for reminding everyone on this list that SAFETY is a major consideration especially in light of the fact that 200 pounds have been added to the cars over the years with no improvement in the shock dampening. Earlier I thought that a longer (3") rubber puck would solve the issue but now I am convinced that a spec., cost controlled, small size, single body, coil over shock is the best way to improve the safety of the F500. I think that the only way to find out is to poll everyone and see what is the prevailing opinion.

So, Joe Palmer, would you please set up a poll so that all (not just this list) the F500 drivers (RR & Autox) can vote and we will see which way to go. Each voter can only vote once and must ID himself.

Jim
