Don't forget Sidewinders , there are several for sale and yes we are still
building cars and spares. Our new "race shop" separate from our auto repair
shop will finally be ready for production this month, we would also agree
with comments about checking with previous owners or manufactures , Jeff @

Devils, but all of the manufacturers actively making cars has a good
product. In addition to the great advice already posted, hopefully this
will also help you:

manufacturing configuration as possible and that the manufacturer is still
actively in the F500 business. With the exception of the QRE 4-link upgrade
for KBS, all other non-OEM modifications are basically one-offs and you
won't have a readily available source to replace these parts when they
break. For a short time, I raced a chassis that was not currently being
manufactured and it was a frustrating adventure every time I had to source a
part. That's not something you want to deal with when you are first
starting out. I don't now the current status of all the manufacturers, but
I do know that Red Devil, QRE (Invader), Scorpion/Maverick, and Novakar can
all support the parts needs of their cars.

them about the car. The F500 production numbers are so small that the
manufacturers usually know the history of their cars and are a wealth of
information.

clutches are usually worn out. One exception would be spare rims that are
in good condition - they are helpful when you're starting out.

trailer straight off the track in Topeka. Things like trick exhausts,
clutches or even engines have a tendency to get mysteriously replaced before
the "Runoffs special" is delivered to the new owner.
