I do not understand your reply. All I have stated is in NER Solo II program it is mine and a few others opinion that a lot of people would like to see the Modified Cars go away and just run cars that are driven to the event!

New England is a great place to live, but sure can be a pain in the ass when
your in to different things. We had a group of guys that wanted to build a
drag strip and big oval years ago (in Rhode Island) before NHIS was rebuilt
from the old road course. Recently a long time SCCA member in RI wanted to
build a road racing industrial park in RI near the Conn. border, but it was
shot down. The NER was going to work with him. It would have been 30
minutes of easy towing from my house in Warwick, RI. Would have been a good
place for the kids who are wraping themselves around trees to learn how to
control a car or get started in go-kart racing. Plus I was planing on
spending a lot of my time there when I retire with my digital cameras.

After looking at the GM proving grounds I wish I had gone west years ago,
but like most New Englanders I guess I was too dumb to take a chance and
move.

PS: One thing they have no problem with is street bikes. You can ride as
many bikes with no mufflers as you like as long as it has an H-D on it. But
they are starting to get educated about that too. That is why I found the
cheapest 650cc v-twin I could that is very quiet, a new 2007 Suzuki SV650.
For $5,720 I will enjoy hours of riding around on the country rodes of Rhode
Island and New England. Plus we still have some of the best salt and fresh
water beaches in the country.
Oh, but for a great race track considering the one of the first big NASCAR
tracks was in Cranston, RI which is now a city sports field! If they only
knew what they were doing many years ago I would be living fifteen minutes
away from the home of the Cranston 500 and speed week!

Bobby and the rest you New Englanders,
With the way the local people are treating the racers up there, I suspect
that you may want to look at moving to a more hospitable part of the
country.
Sorry that Q decided not to move down here.
