Yes !
Replace the flex lines with hard lines ! The flex lines - after a peroid of
time - will "grow" in diameter when the pedal is depressed - like an
arterery will when hemo is pumped and then relaxes between beats !
We learned this lesson and it cost us a couple of seconds a lap because we
had to extra pump the brakes when going into corners to get a hard pedal. We
bleed 'em and bleed 'em and still couldn't get a hard pedal ! The flex line
looks great but should be used in the shortest amount needed !

Subject: [F500] Brake lines
I noticed my car has flexible brake lines throughout. In addition, the
front lines go across the floor a little behind the pedals. There is a
cover over them which interferes with my heel. Can the lines be rerouted to
over the footbox along the upper frame? Should I replace the flex lines
with hard lines? Do braided lines to the calipers help firmness (I know
they made a big diff in my Shelby Cobra)?
