Yes . . . snow on Thursday and cold on Friday, but by Saturday it was warm again mid-day, in the 50's. Actually turned out to be a good racing (School) weekend. Clear both day, just a little chilly. In fact, we never even set-up the canopy.

Please welcome Chris "Conehead" Hodde . . . the latest "Classmate" from Texas. Conehead made and finished every session and was running a nice pace and making clean, safe passes . . . save one incident with a cone!

We hope to see Coney at the National races by year-end 2007

We also identified a solid new class prospect in Darryl "Scooter" Reese, who also crewed for Chris all weekend and Mark Nixon (FA) all season, including the Run-Offs. Scooter currently runs a Porsche 944 in ITE and PCA, but is looking for a fast and affordable open-wheel class. Scoots lurks on this list, so please lay the sales pitch on him thick!

Shiny Side Up,
Joe Palmer
TX Novakar #56

Tx. Super School fell through for me because of bad road conditions.
Making the drive from Louisiana proved too risky and I had to withdraw at the last minute.

I heard you folks got a bit of snow down there. Welcome to driving in the great white north. ;-)
