Cool - maybe I can pimp my 'sclade with some dubs and matching neon on the
trailer!

The V-nose trailers are quite well known for being more unstable.
They like to dart a little left and right as the air flow jumps mostly to
either one side or the other. Yaw sensitive to wind direction.

Just like a knife edge separator between 2 intake ports on a motor. Round it
a little and all of a sudden the flow divides a LOT better.

As one blunts the trailer nose, it gets better too. The better V-nose
trailers now have about a 5" radius which helps but probably isn't as good
as a much bigger radius. 5" is a better compromise than a 1/2" radius. Ther
are some of those out there too.

A complete hemispherical nose would probably have both less drag and also be
more stable but it is not a practical shape for a trailer with respect to
turning radius. The nose would hit the edges of the tow vehicles bumper in
tight turns

You will probably like your Pace-it shouldn't be too bad, especially if the
towing vehicle is not a low car but a SUV or Van.

More people out here in AZ seem to be buying the big high performance Caddie
SUV's for towing a big trailker in comfort with lotsa towing and braking
power
