Chuck, it helps to tie the injector pump arm full open to more quickly push
the air out of the tubes to the injector nozzles.
Open the bleed screw on the top of the pump until oil comes out of it to
prime the pump before even starting the motor.
These 2 things will reduce the amount of time you will have to run a smokey
premix.

I've always used Maxima oils, they recommend a mixture of Recommended
Premix Ratios
50-80cc (24-32:1) 125cc (24-40:1) 250cc (24-40:1)
500cc and up (32-60:1) I have almost always used the 32:1 mixture. I think
you will find many different ideas on ratios though.

Installing a new engine and need to run it on pre-mix until the oil pump
gets working properly....it has been so long since I have done this I have
forgotten the proper mix of oil to gas....HELP!
