Chuck:

Get well! Good luck Wednesday.

Jack

PS: Leave the metal in. Don't sweat it--especially in Florida. The titanium
in my leg from Daytona '89 is still there.

Chuck,
I hope you have a speedy recovery.
I remember that Jack Walbran broke his wrist about a year ago and had pins
and screws installed to hold it together. He can tell you more about his
recovery. The other is my wife's broken wrist, also about a year ago, and
she
decided on an "external fixator" with five screws coming from this 5 inch
long
carbon fiber tube along the broken section. They each held the bone in a
particular way. They left only five small round scars. I still have the
carbon
fiber tube and have been trying to come up with a way to use it in a racing
application.
