Sheesh, Cory, That sounds like a lot of work! We used a quick lift and some large blocks (8 x 8's?) for our first Red Devil. Worked well enough, but hard on the back.
Got our electric winch powered lift when we bought our KBS from Eric C. Totally spoiled by it and works swell w/our latest Red Devil, too. Don't know who made it, Eric would know. Pretty sure its 1.25" OD, 16 or 14 ga. steel tube. However, it's just a wee bit too tall to let the Red Devil clear with our typical low ride height. Nonetheless, I consider it an indispensable accessory. I've actually designed a replacement that is lower with similar strength. Someday, I may actually get to the fabrication stage. If it works as planned, you'll be the first to know... Looking forward to seeing you (and your new Red Devil), Charlie and Marilyn Schlismann > > From: Cory McLeod <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: [email protected] > Date: Fri, 9 Feb 2007 08:12:58 -0800 (PST) > Subject: Re: [F500] Re: Car Lift - Snowmobile Lift? > > Charlie is right.
