I saw the vacuum car on SPEED about a year ago. Very cool and dusty. If you think airline designers have it right, look at all the "winglets" and vortex generators they add to the tips, engines and top of the wing to move the air and break up the boundary layers.
I smile every time I see an F-1 car with all the wing tips and special shapes to move the air around the car. Mark S.
