The KBS/QRE rear uses an axle tube. Mike Quadrini can supply the QRE version as KBS is no longer doing business.
The critical element of the rear axle carrier is it's locating point for what ever type of rear axle location is used. Most use a Panhard bar arrangement, however, I have seen other forms of rear axle location. The types of carriers and bearing installations that are used are as varied as the people who have designed their installations. In designing your installation, remember that the stresses generated are not inconsequential. Are there any sources that make them? Are the bearings pressed in or use retainers? What is the advantage to an axle tube?
