Jay's cost facts are consistent with the facts assembled for me. 

I believe that this F500 spec based car is the only way that we can assure the 
continued availability of new $20,000 to $25,000 formula cars. I believe we can 
make $20,000 this year.

As I think you already know, the only other spec change I would make is a spec 
shock.

Don't forget that you have a large following of current and former F500 
(national) participants who are on board with you and totally support your 
efforts to develop and analyze the viability of an ALTERNATIVE (this term seems 
to be continually disregarded by the opponents of it) engine package.  So..in 
short...I speak for them in saying we prefer you to continue this worthwhile 
venture.  What I don't understand is...wouldn't all the ones against it prefer 
to sit back and say "I told you so" once you have completed your work rather 
than put forth all the reasons why it can't be done before it's even been 
tried!  Especially since you are the one who is putting forth the time and 
financial resources to do so!  Wouldn't that be more satisfying? Hmmmmm...I 
wonder what will happen if you're dead on...I'm happy to wait and see what your 
findings are.  Keep up the good work.

The goal here is to investigate the viability of an "ALTERNATIVE" to a 
snowmobile engine & CVT.  Definition = a possible or remaining course or 
choice. (Emphasis on choice).
