Dave,
I'm 100% solo- zero interest in road stuff. See enuff traffic on my way to work evey day. Too much of a pure corner/slalom junkie.

Went to BM because I wanted to try something that generates noticeable DF at solo speeds.

It isn't clear whether one can ever generate any DF with just underbody stuff at solo speeds. Certainly can work well at road speeds.

A one-sided underbody surface against the moving road apparently ceases to work as you try to increase angle of divergence on the exit to get DF pounds at 50 rather than 100 mph.

The car isn't much to look at still.
The front suspension and rotors/brakes are on it along with rack and steering wheel.

Seating is there. Some of front suspension is ex Swift DB3 with narrowed rocker/suspension arms.

2-stroke Engine is done and have all the drivetrain pieces made and fitted but not on the car. rear brakes, CV's, CVT, sprockets, Quaife, all on the bench but not on the car. I have both front and rear wings almost completed (90%). I also have all the shocks, springs, rims and tires.

Not going to make it for Nationals this year.

Like the others from FM or CM that went to BM, I probably won't ever go back.
BM appears to be healthy and growing.

But who knows?
Chuck V

Chuck,
What kind of person are you now?
Are you going to be a B-mod autocrosser or are
you going roadracing in DSR?
Any pics of the new car?
Dave
