(1)...Nine F500's entered. Eight took the green. The eight included several drivers who were doing the National to help our class count and others who were gaining track knowledge for September's big Formula Car Magazine F500 Challenge Race Presented by Hoosier. (2)...Kudos to F500 driver Ted Roudolph, Brother Scott, and their Dad for helping out noted FV driver and scribe Jim Kearney. Kearny suffered multiple frame cracks after gaining the pole in Q1. A chance meeting with the Brothers Rudolph followed by their highly professional fab and welding fix put Kearney on track for a seventh in class finish. The nice guy award definitely goes to the Roudolph family.
