Eric - Even though I have been away from the F500 scene for a few years, I still kept subscribing to the site as I had met many fine people through your efforts. It is true that time does march on and this is a sad event. Wish you all of the best and thank you!

Last moth 98% of the posts were just spam (which of coursegot filtered fro the list - I was the only one who had to wade though themall). Also, as most of you know the f500.org site has been badly broken for sometime now. It was attacked by hackers a few months ago and I've never reallyhad the time to fix everything. On top of it all, the server that hostsf500.org is getting pretty old and really needs to be retired or replaced. So, with a bit of sadness I need to announce the end of the F500 mailinglist. The list will go silent sometime in the next couple weeks. The websitewill be rehosted on a shared server, but in a considerably trimmed downform. Since there has been very, very little contributed content over theyears, and I no longer have the time to author content myself, it makeslittle sense to keep maintaining news, product reviews, etc. Classifieds arehandled by the forums now, so they will be gone as well. I will get thephoto gallery back online on the new server. The server transition will takefew weeks. I will retain the F500.org Mailing List Archives (and actually fix them sothey are searchable again) on the new site. I do want to thank all the people who have made the f500 mailing list a funplace to hang out. I've enjoyed hosting it and do feel a bit sad to pull theplug.
