I'm trying to focus on django-vcs (followed by integration with, and/or tweaks of, django-issues) so I can get a ticket tracker up and running -- so I haven't had a lot of time to poke at Fabric lately. Depending on how things go, I may end up installing Redmine at least temporarily after all, allowing me to Get Stuff Done with Fab and some other side projects (I have a bad habit of putting idealism before pragmatism and am trying to combat this) without having to "block" on django-vcs. I say this as an excuse for why I'm not giving your patch (and the state of Fab in general) a more thorough looking-over or tweaking :( which I very much want to do. Especially with the extra press Fabric's been getting lately!
