Hi folks,

Sincerest apologies -- this went out on Twitter the day of, but I
totally flaked on sending an email for those of you who actually get
stuff done instead of tweeting all day long :)

## FABRIC 0.9.3

Fabric 0.9.3 was released on Friday. Not a huge release -- just a
handful of changes that can be seen here:

    http://docs.fabfile.org/0.9.3/changes/0.9.3.html

Main highlights: run/sudo's return values now have the same .stderr
and .succeeded, etc, attributes, as in master; and the PyCrypto
install problems have been limited to Python 2.5 only. But please read
the change notes :)

## FABRIC 1.0pre

Other news: hard at work on 1.0, which is finally in sight (no,
seriously). Right now the plan is to:

* wrap up a decent upgrade to put/get (mostly done as of last weekend)
* hopefully pull in Travis' changes regarding task
selection/identification and namespaces
* and maybe some final cleanup to the new interactivity feature (e.g.
making line prefixes optional, stuff like that).

Then an attempt at getting all of you to whack on it for a few days
pre-release to find any seriously awful bugs, and we're done!

Hopefully 1.0.1 won't need to follow *immediately* afterwards -- but
if it does, no worries. I'm more committed than ever to having both
bugfix and feature releases go out much faster than they used to.
0.9.3 was a very spontaneous burst of work / release, and it felt
great.

Best,
Jeff
